During the Volunteer Cadet Corps Executive Council Meeting taking place this weekend at the Royal Navy Cadet Force Training Centre, Commander VCC was delighted to present three Cadet Force Warrants to WO2 (VCC) Jarmain, WO2 (VCC) Robb and WO2 (VCC) Hinchliffe following their promotion.

Last night Volunteer Cadet Corps from HMS Sultan RNVCC Bands of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps Gosport Division RMVCC paraded HMS Sultan. For the graduation of our latest #cadets . The VIP Lt Cdr Ochtman-corfe presented the #cadets with their caps. Lt Cdr (VCC) Regional Officer (South) and Lt (VCC) Gary Fletcher were also with us to celebrate this amazing graduation

Well done to LCpl Anna Lummis from Bands of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps for winning the Duet class at Portsmouth Music festival.
She also passed her grade 3 Alto sax exam back in December with a merit and now working towards grade 4.

Today, cadets from the Band supported a Tri-Service event at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard ⚓️

The Band provided a musical ensemble to entertain the crowds as they looked around the various stalls from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force. 🫡

My thanks to Portsmouth Division RMVCC, Bands of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps & Volunteer Cadet Corps for my leaving parade and gifts on Tue eve. It was great to finish my VCC journey where it all started, and to award my last Commander’s Coin to a superb Band cadet SNCO.

Best wishes to my successor, think it’s endex now!
