At #ARFSD2024 , @Zmilisic underscores the importance of partnerships. In Tanzania, his dedication to fostering collaborations has amplified the engagement of the private sector & civil society in addressing development challenges, pinpointing issues & actionable pathways forward.

UNOPS & the Govt of 🇹🇿 recently signed an agreement, enhancing their collaboration to achieve the SDGs in Tanzania. The signing was led by MFA Tanzania’s Minister, Hon. January Makamba, with ambassadors, govt officials, & the UNOPS team in attendance.

Today, the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, had the pleasure of a courtesy dialogue with the 🇹🇿 Minister for Foreign Affairs, January Makamba. The meeting aimed to bolster the #UN 's cooperative relationship with the 🇹🇿 govt during his visit to the country.

In his visit to #Tanzania USG for UN Peacekeeping Jean-Pierre Lacroix met with United Nations TZ agencies to discuss the UN's work in support different areas including the UN's and Govt work on refugees in the agro-economy and climate related issues in TZ.
