Today was a full day learning plant form during our Plants and People in the #Anthropocene course in Costa Rica 🇨🇷! After a morning studying cross sections, Medelin Kant taught students how to make stomatal impressions (they did GREAT!) in the botanic garden.
Our first day at Las Cruces Biological Station began with a tour, including the canopy tower. Excited for students to learn about environmental gradients & to measure plant responses here over the next week during our #UFinCostaRica Plants and People in the #Anthropocene course!
Cannot be more grateful to be a part of this group of people! Great company of (almost) complete representation of UF IFAS Solutions #weedscience team during joint WSSA and SouthernWeedScienceSociety meeting!
