Netanyahu avoids prosecution if he wrecks the Israeli judicial system or convinces people the war demands a permanent exception or Israel is destroyed. That's his incentive structure, arising from his dreadful record. He's an existential threat to Israel.

Having greeted their visitors, Kyiv museum workers explain that most exhibits are stored in a bomb shelter. ‘For now. Until victory.’ I long to see the day when they’ll be on display.

Technically correct but strategically questionable: rather like arguing that the Battle of the Atlantic was a 2d order campaign since it didn't take territory. It was key to the outcome of WW2. Cornering the Black Sea Fleet, opening the grain route, isolating Crimea are big deals

Help me protect life in Ukraine. Last year, many of you joined me in a UNITED24 project to fund an anti-drone system. I very much hope you will join me in a new fundraiser to spread the drone-detection system throughout the country. Please help.
