Women, young women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Mbale and Napak are taking bold steps towards environmental restoration. Over 1000 candlenut tree seedlings and 1000 seeds have been distributed by IST in partnership with Women's International Peace Centre with support from UN Women Uganda.
