When you come for dinner tonight don’t forget to add a side of mooli pickle to your order. We ate SO MUCH of this amazing vegetable when we were in Tibet. We’d pluck it out the ground and shred it for a salad side. Enjoy with a cool Buddha Beer at one of our sunny outside tables.

Many years ago I met Yeshi's bother in China and swapped photographs of him for some walnuts from his village. Today we have a Tibetan walnut tree growing at the end of our road that will soon bear fruit. Full story is in this week's Postcard From Tibet tastetibet.com/22871-2/
