Today, we rallied to celebrate signing over 2700 union authorization cards which demonstrate supermajority support for GET-UP, and announce our plan to file for a union election. Over 600 of us signed a letter asking Penn to remain neutral and respect our right to form a union…

Cards have continued to pour in after our rally, and today we filed 3,000 union authorization cards with the National Labor Relations Board. This is just the beginning!

Temple grad workers showed (dare I say the world) that when we are organized YOU can improve your working conditions. Now it’s time to show up and demonstrate our solidarity with our union siblings in TAUP so they get the raises, security and equity they deserve ¡Sí se puede! ✊

Our union siblings @taup - the union for faculty, librarians, and academic professionals - deserve a fair contract as they continue negotiations with the university.
