Nurse has been extremely physical tonight, laying out lots of punishment in the corners and net front. Great rush up ice generating critical first goal. Impressive bounce back for Oil after an abysmal start.

Nurse has been heavily under fire the past few days.. Some of it fair, some of it a little much, but it’s part of being heavily counted on and highly paid. This response is out of character for him, he’s usually well spoken and willing with the media. Interesting on a game day.

So three potential changes for tonight. Broberg, McLeod and Perry for Desharnais, Carrick and Foegele, based on morning skates and who stayed on the ice. Knoblauch hasn’t been afraid to make changes, this is a lot in one game. Speed upgrade on D and with 71 returning.

Foegele also one of the last ones off the ice. Carrick too. Looks like significant changes coming.

Desharnais definitely gassed himself this morning so looks like Broberg goes in for him.

My sense is we see Broberg tonight. Could be 11-7 or either 5 or 73 come out. Knoblauch has made some bold decisions these playoffs, this would be another one.
