Great that Friends of the Shakespeare Line are welcoming John Austin FGRA to #StratforduponAvon railway station over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend (May 25 - 27) with an exhibition of his fabulous railway paintings. John will be on hand throughout & prints & commissions will be available.
When it comes to inclusivity & accessibility organisations shout from the rooftops how important it is…really? So why r we still waiting for the #AccessforAll programme for CP7 from Department for Transport - it should have been published by 1 April - can Huw Merriman MP get it published?
Happy Birthday William Shakespeare the patron of our #ShakespeareLine !! 😊- visit our lovely route from #Birmingham to #StratforduponAvon by West Midlands Railway or from #London #LeamingtonSpa & #Warwick via Chiltern Railways
Great to see Woodrush High School so engaged with its local community and its students participating in tangible activities that build vocational opportunity & lifelong learning
More great work by the inspirational & innovative Centenary Lounge - bringing a wonderful GWR heritage back to the forefront on its famous #Birmingham #London route - the refreshments available are not be missed!!
Great to see three pages of coverage about the #Community working with the railway, education & local SME’s in the #WestMidlands along the Shakespeare Line RUG + coverage of the reopening of #HenleyinArden ‘s original GWR station building - Get your copy now online or at your newsagents 👍
Two hours today to and from #StratforduponAvon with no West Midlands Railway trains leaving #WoottonWawen #HenleyinArden #Danzey #WoodEnd #TheLakes #Earlswood & #Wythall without a service. Service reliability is still not where it should be - passengers cannot rely on using the train
How the railway makes a difference to the #community - great to see so many people at “Defibrillator” training ran by First Responders last evening at #TheStationHenleyinArden - a new community facility being used!!
The Centenary Lounge at #LeamingtonSpa always delivers a civilised start to any day. Lovely coffee & refreshments in lovingly restored GWR surroundings
What a great day, despite the weather, to see so many people visit and engage with a truly inspirational & progressive secondary school & its students Woodrush High School - Network Rail & West Midlands Railway demonstrate why engaging with & practically supporting education is so beneficial
