#Birmingham & #BlackCountry SLC continued their work with West Midlands Police this week, delivering vision awareness sessions to police staff.
We're really enjoying this piece of work with the force, to ensure that their services & procedures are accessible to people with sight loss.
Today Naomi Ditchfield❤️ from the Merseyside Sight Loss Councils and I got the privilege of attending Museum of Liverpool for the launch of the #DisabiltyTrailLaunch thank you to iriska 🌈✨💖 (she/her/hers) who is the #CuratingForChange fellow at the museum who put the trail together. It was an excellent launch!
London & Bedfordshire SLCs had a great session with Ethos Farm staff yesterday.
SLCs are working with Ethos Farm Customer Experience staff across Westfield London, Battersea Power Station, & Luton Rising, highlighting how they can support their blind & partially sighted customers.

#Nottinghamshire SLC are continuing their work to #MakeTransportAccessible .
Yesterday, SLC members carried out important research across the NET Nottingham Tram network to inform the next stages of the project - developing #AudioGuides for blind & partially sighted passengers.
London SLCs are delivering #VisionAwareness sessions to staff from the Customer Experience team Ethos Farm, at Battersea Power Station today.
This forms part of our ongoing work with Ethos Farm to highlight how staff can best support blind & partially sighted people #VisionForChange

Yesterday, #Merseyside SLC attended Liverpool John Lennon Airport's Airport Accessibility Committee meeting. We look forward to continuing our work with the airport to create accessible air travel for blind & partially sighted people.
