Hi we still have some kit to remove from our fundraising trip to Rockall. Looking for a couple of good climbers to climb rock and help retrieve the kit . You need about a week window about 2 /3 days sail each way . We will cover the cost of vessel and food possible dates 19-25Aug

Update from the vessel. They have been unable to land on Rockall to recover equipment due to weather conditions. They are returning the the mainland.

The team will re-plan for the next recover attempt.

They will also activate MM0UKI one last time, so that any radio operators who did not manage to get a QSL card last time can tick it off their list. #Rockall #RadioHam #EU189 #MM0UKI

The operation to recover all the equipment from Rockall has begun. Cam, Emil and Nobby have set sail on SV Taeping to head back to Rockall as of 16th July. Subject to weather, they will arrive around 18/19 July, and remove all the equipment from Rockall. #Rockall #Rockall Exped

Due to declining weather conditions & sea state at Rockall over the last 24 hrs, Cam has this afternoon declared a Mayday. An operation to evacuate him from Rockall is currently being coordinated by HM Coastguard.
Please do not speculate at this time

It may be windy on Rockall at the moment. Very windy in fact. But at least Cam has sunshine.
