We have more lead pipe service lines in Illinois than any other state. I helped secure more than $240 million of this funding to get these dangerous pipes out of our communities and protect
public health.

In America today:

- Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than their white women.

- Black infants are 4x more likely to die from complications due to low birthweight than white infants.

We must pass the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act.
