It has been another good day for sightings with a tally of 92 for the day including our lone Black-winged Stilt, thanks to Robert for this photo posted on our Flickr page. RSPB Viking Optical Ltd #NatureWonders

A well attended inaugural Habitat Management Day saw teams from Lincs, Norfolk, Beds, Northants, Lancs and Cambridgeshire visit the reserve to chat with us about our what's, why's and how's when it comes to looking after and improving the site. We offered up some good birds too.

Another car park full of happy visitors here at #RSPBFrampton , with the Black-winged Stilt and the Red-breasted Goose both being highlights for many, along with double digits of Little Gulls over the reedbed.

After a grey day yesterday, the sun was out and shining today, with lots of sightings across #RSPBFrampton . Here too is a Grey Partridge, from Wayne and Sue who kindly uploaded it to our Flickr page (flickr.com/groups/2697538…)

Good news, the first avocet chicks of the year are hatching at #RSPBFrampton ! Here are the rest of the sightings from a rather wet day (plus the Black-winged Stilt on the reedbed at 5:30pm)

With so many birds on the reserve, we're not often short of a ring or 2 to read. Here are a couple of recent reports of an Avocet at Frampton and a Knot over at Freiston. With high tides coming towards the end of next week there may be even more birds and legs to sift through.
