Upon its return in Mar 1941, it was merged with No 52 ME Commando to make D Bn Layforce under Bob Laycock. 6/ #ContinuingtheFight
1/2 I read Eyewitness Falklands by BBC radio reporter Robert Fox in 82 & recently. Very easy to read. He sailed on Canberra & was at many places on the Island, inc Goose Green. He did 2 day yomp with 45 Commando RM Teal Inlet to Bluff Cove Peak. My photos Royal Marines FalklandsinUK

To enable them to operate unhindered by any military authorities and 'job's-worth's', 30 AU officers were issued with special passes.
