STEM is Launched RAF Shawbury 🚁🚀
Pupils from St Mary’s Primary School enjoyed the launch event of RAF Shawbury’s STEM programme yesterday. Along with launching rockets, using VR headsets and building aircraft, the day was full of variety, learning and fun for all.
Air Security Force Teams Head to Head on Military Skills RAF Shawbury
The March and Shoot Competition tests military skills, fitness and shooting, as well as developing resilience and wellbeing of those who keep our Stations safe. Congratulations to the winners - Team Marham!
Flt Lts Palmer and Slater from RAF Odiham are undertaking a massive charity cycle ride for the #royalairforcesassociation from Land's End to John o' Groats taking in 20 RAF Stations on route. Over 20 days they plan to cycle 1603 miles. On Day 10 they dropped into RAF Shawbury.

There is a new Commanding Officer at 705 Naval Air Squadron, part of No. 1 Flying Training School RAF Shawbury. As per custom of the Squadron, Lieutenant Commander Forrest has handed the symbolic cord-bound brass telescope to Lieutenant Commander De Maine as he takes command.
