They’ve only done it again! Massive well done to our rugby lads, who triumphed for the second successive year at the first of three Inter-Station Rugby League 9s tournaments for the RAF Clayton Cup.

We set out to showcase Leeming & smashed it. Thanks to ACM Sir Rich Knighton & WO RAF / Subby Subramaniam for venturing north. It was a privilege to give insight into our diverse units and their work, from keeping the UK cyber safe to defending against UAS and innovating for the future.

Spare a thought for the sore-armed members of Operational Training Centre, two-thirds of the way through their 100 Press Up challenge. They’ll be working their pecs all month to raise awareness and funds as they support a member of staff and their family coping with cancer.💪

Today we wish happy retirement to one of our finest. Flt Lt Al Dolding's final sortie with 11 Sqn QEAF marked the end of a 44 year career with 7000 hours of jet flying. Wg Cdr Mark Lawson, OC 11 Sqn, said: 'Dolders is gentleman aviator and I've loved working with him.” 👏🥂🍾✈️

602 (City of Glasgow) Squadron joins 607 (County of Durham) Squadron,
RAF Leeming, & 7006 Squadron, RAF Waddington, as reserve units supporting UK Space Command.

Great job by everyone who hosted AVM Jason Appleton, AOC 2 GP and Air Cdre Jamie Thompson for a packed visit featuring 90 SU, 2 C-UAS Wg & details of how RAF Leeming is adopting more agile ways of working. A short but valuable insight into one of the most diverse Stations in the RAF.

Huge well done to Engineering Support Flight for taking on the coast to coast walk along Hadrian's Wall. Starting in Tynemouth & finishing in Bowness-in-Solway, the team covered 90 Miles. Lots of teamwork, laughs and ALL the blisters. We've seen the photos to prove it! 🥾🤢🙌

We’re back! With a final FOD plod to ensure our shiny new runway was clear of debris, we were delighted to welcome everyone home. 🤗✈️🛩️

It's nearly finished!! Station Commander, Group Captain Paul Hamilton was given a tour of the plant and facilities supporting current runway works by contractor VolkerFitzpatrick.

RAFeXperimental (RAFX) has gone international, joining Stn Cdr, Gp Capt Paul Hamilton & academics from Newcastle University to visit Merignac and Cazaux Air Bases of Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace The visit cemented a new partnership to share ideas and pursue innovation.

I know we said all movement had stopped but it’s still pretty busy out there! Can’t wait to see aircraft on our new runway! 😆
