In case you missed it: I did a one-on-one interview with Shai Reznik (Qwik) on JavaScript Jabber about JavaScript streaming, and its implementation in Qwik. It's a great conversation! youtube.com/watch?v=6JIwXx…

This is really exciting! This means that with @qwikdev on Vercel, you never drop traffic when you ship new code.

And this is not just for .js and .css assets caught in the middle of a version switch, but also cool cutting-edge RPC capabilities like `server$`:

The brilliant thing about Qwik is its ability to serialize and stream closures.

It's because the primitive in Qwik is the 'QRL' (Qwik URL), which is an abstraction of 'calling a function that lives in a different file', saving us the need to manually import and run it.

Just started the Qwik intro course at QwikSchool.com and WOW! What a hilariously entertaining way to learn a crazy-fast framework. πŸ‘πŸ‘ to Shai Reznik (Qwik) & MiΕ‘ko Hevery (Builder.io/Qwik) for making this!

I got asked yesterday if Qwik 'defer' the hydration on a route level or a component level.

My answer was:
1. There is no hydration, we run the code once, not twice.

2. Qwik works on a function (closure!) level.
We literally 'stream' individual functions to the user 🀯

It's OFFICIAL! πŸŽ‰
We're merging with SolidJS and forming a new framework called 'sQwik'

Yep, that's the sound your chair makes when you lean back and let the framework does all the work for ya... πŸ˜‰
