About 20 years ago, I heard two friends open a Wigmore Hall recital with this brilliant (& hardly-played) Mendelssohn sonata and immediately decided I’d love to do the same one day… FINALLY doing it on Sun morning with Elena Urioste, plus Beach & Grieg!
