I'm truly honored that the work on my group in Chromosome Biophysics has been so highly recognized. Particularly touched to receive this prize from Tel-Aviv University in Israel. Particularly now - in these difficult times.
Honored to share this award with cees dekker, wish
This is such an elegant and intuitive protocol that Juan Dรญaz-Colunga and co came up with for assembling combinatorially complete sets of microbes. I've already tried it out a couple of times with yeast and it really does take < 1hr to assemble all combinations of 8 species. So useful!
I am deeply saddened by Lubert Stryerโs death. Just 6 months ago I had coffee with him. I was so taken with his open-hearted curiosity about science and people and with his generosity of mind and spirit. He touched so many. May his memory inspire us all. med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/โฆ
Sharing the protocol we're using in the lab to rapidly & easily assemble combinatorial sets of microbial communities + script to adapt the protocol to different situations. Hope it's useful to others. Pablo Catalan Juan Dรญaz-Colunga magdalena san roman andrea_arrabal_
