Peaceful protestors in Georgia are seen carrying the flags of 🇬🇪 & 🇪🇺, reflecting their hopes for a prosperous and democratic future integrated with Europe. This bill would stifle civil society and independent media, undermining Georgia's EU candidacy.

An ocean of people of different ages and genders, all united in rallying against the government's stubborn intention to adopt the foolish law. It's the largest protest I've ever witnessed, and I've seen many. Impossible to ignore the voices of these people.

We are deeply alarmed about democratic backsliding in Georgia.  Georgian Parliamentarians face a critical choice - whether to support the Georgian people’s EuroAtlantic aspirations or pass a Kremlin-style foreign agents' law that runs counter to democratic values.

The protests in Georgia continue to gain momentum. On the left, a photo shows a major sports gym chain joining the calls for pro-Western actions. On the right, a food delivery service prominently displays the main motto of these protests: #NoToRussianLaw .

Despite ongoing dispersals, the rallies in Georgia show no signs of stopping. Today, a sea of ppl gathered to protest, many wearing masks to protect against tear gas & pepper spray. They had to stand in long lines to purchase the protective gear. 📷s from public FB groups.

The Georgian ruling team wants to put an end to these endless street rallies. Tomorrow they will likely face an even larger turnout of protesters.
