A6 I visited Thailand last year I was impressed by the physical accessibility of all of the new malls & infrastructure that was being built. Many of the new homes we saw also had step free access & bedrooms downstairs for elderly relatives /people with reduced mobility

A5 it feels highly exploitative when companies use members of the disability & accessibility communities to deflect criticism. There have been cases of this in the last few years but we should differentiate between them and the companies that engage in order to learn.

A3 unfortunately it’s not uncommon for brands to want to create a halo effect by making more of individual actions rather than focusing on systemic change. Having a day of celebration is much easier than doing the hard miles. Kudos to the many companies that ARE doing it

A2 I think that we are at a breakthrough moment where new digital tools powered by LLMs can act as co-bots to support inclusion. This needs to be done intentionally though we should not have to make do with accidental .

A1 lets start by making sure that whatever is designed meets standards like ISO 21542, Building construction – Accessibility and usability of the built environment. Inclusive design principles can make for beautiful innovative spaces. there's no reason not to do it.
