What a strange hospital appointment. The surgeon who signed me off acted like a wronged lover. Someone else did surgery on you? Er? Yes, because you dumped me. I have them fighting over me now 🤣

Hospital today. To see the surgeon who has been seeing me for nearly 2 decades but who refused to see me during lockdown, despite my health seriously deteriorating. He even signed me off & then out of the blue booked this appointment.
How cheery should I be? 🤣

After my thread about pain I've had another crappo day. Wrote some music reviews for Blitzed but it's a slog trying to write sensible stuff while your brain is jelly. You'll see the outcome in the next issue. Gulp.

Today I'm off to Stopgap Dance to deliver EDI events training for Goss Consultancy Ltd as part of the partnership with Phab UK Access Consultancy & Training Services. Great to be back at Stop Gap, who had the nightmare of trying to train me to dance.

As we ramp up to Paris 2024 I feel I have to tell all my disabled followers don't be afraid of the reputation of Paris around access. I love the city & while it has some flaws access wise, it's way better than the myth. I was impressed & my last visit was 5 years ago.

Sod it. I'm taking my Zydol. Too much to do so pain can do one. I'll deal with the withdrawal again later.

Diving into my articles for @blitzedmagazine today but my pain just flared. Done 2, half way through a 3rd but time to stop for now. Got until Friday but annoyed with biology again. I was exploring the records that got me hooked on synth music.

While I may not have found a car for me, I had an amazing day with the Euan's Guide gang & am so proud of the work we're doing together with Phab UK . Honoured to be part of a project that's going to increase knowledge of accessibility across the nation (& beyond)❤️

Wowzers. Obviously some railway staff need better inclusive service training. Missed our train because they couldn't find me, despite sitting outside the assistance office. My fault apparently. For being a giant punk cripple with a wife with a red bob hair do. Difficult to spot.
