An earnest appreciation to Prof John Strachan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research & Enterprise, Bath Spa University, & Ashesi University for the good things! & for Danny & team who played massive roles towards Bristol Poetry Festival. It was tender to begin memorable adventures with him at tennis.
Last month's show 🌟an absolute dream to host

Thanks Bristol Poetry Festival & Watershed for having us on Saturday as part of *Translation & Displacement*, to Stephen Watts & Poetry Translation Centre for organising & chairing, & to Al-Saddiq Al-Radd, Sabrin Hasbun & Ibrahim Hirsi for gorgeous, stirring multilingual performances. A grand afternoon!
Last night, I slurped fruit from the tree of awesomeness at Bristol Poetry Festival with Alice Oswald, Rachel Long and Caroline Bird. Today, I’m off to Manchester as I have free tickets for Rick Astley. It certainly is a weekend.
Left tonight's #poetry reading at St George's Bristol dumbstruck, with my hand over my mouth to stop my heart jumping out. Not my first case of Alice Oswalditis. Similar symptoms to Cohenitis and Bowieitis. Alice Oswald is right up there. Bristol Poetry Festival
O the magnificence of an evening spent Bristol Poetry Festival listening to the dulcet, empyreal tones of #AliceOswald & Rachel Long plus the Puck like performance of the magnificent Caroline Bird with bestie Torriedeweywhitcroft

…good discussion about the overlap between #poet ry and #AI . An #ontological question remains: where does the poetry #happen ? Does it emerge in the #poet , the #reader , the #text , the uttered #words , all of them, their links, none?…
