Today marks the end of my 41st year as a member of Liverpool City Council. I was first elected on 1st May 1975 and served for 9 years. I had 8 years off and have been back on continuously from 1992. I'm now preparing for my biggest challenge. Being Lord Mayor from 15th May.

Liverpool’s Labour council is bottom of the league. Officially the 2nd worst council in the country!

Meanwhile the Lib Dems are running more councils in the top 20 than any other party.

Arlescourt road L12 will be closed from 29th April for 1 week. We are concerned that residents haven’t been sufficiently informed. We have had residents tell us they only found out was when the roads signs went up on Thursday afternoon. Please get in touch with any concerns.
