11KV Hajin feeder of Rec. Station Hajin Dist. Bandipora segregated into two feeders today. It will help to enhance power supply to all areas fed from the Station.

Receiving Station Hajin Shifted to Badampora Grid today reducing load on 33KV Markundal. It will now be possible to supply 24x7 power from Markundal and Naidkhai stations.

Capacity of 220/132 KV Mir Bazar Grid Station to be augmented from 320MVA to 475MVA at the cost of Rs 29.92 Cr. After up-gradation, power supply will improve manifold to cater to demands of emerging consumer base including industrial & commercial.

SE O&M Circle Ganderbal called an emergency meeting to take a detailed account of Power Supply to Irrigation Pump stations in District Bandipora especially Sonawari area and to arrive at a solution to problems faced by public .

With the installation of 2x10 MVA transformers at R Stn Markundal, Sonawari area will not face power problems in coming Irrigation Season.
The patience of people of Sonawari is appreciable as had to face acute power shortage in winter.
For this year well begun is half done.
