I’ve had some great meetings with our CT surgery colleagues this week regarding ECPR/ECMO and our Neuro ICU team being welcomed and appreciated. I love actively being a part of good multifaceted approach patient care. This is the good stuff.

I’ve taken care of some really sick folks toeing some dangerous lines and I’ve navigated scary things kinda quickly and confidently.

My kid gets (really) sick and I am completely lost. No idea what to do. Medicine goes out the window. Is it meningitis or the common cold?! IDK!

Proud but sad that today is Kate O’Connell’s last day at MUSC as Neurocritical Care Fellow. A lot happens in 2 years during a critical care fellowship and she is ready for the next step.
