Ironically, #HealthandCareWorkers offer healthcare without access to health care, especially mental health. The challenges facing health systems such as staff shortages, low pay, unsafe working conditions, and high stress levels exacerbate #Workforce risk of #MentalHealth
The #Working4Health technical consultation on #HealthandCareWorkers #mentalhealth highlights that pooled estimates of burnout during the pandemic ranged from 41% to 52%. Increased absenteeism, anxiety, and depression were also reported. No significant change since 2022.
