I had no sex education in school. Had I been educated about my own body, consent, healthy boundaries, I might have been able to recognise I was being seually abused within the family. How is this protecting a child?

Sex Education at school would have made a huge difference. Taking away the extra safety for children sets a dangerous precedent

Rishi Sunak No conversations around consent need to be scary, just reassuring and protective. I was 9 when I was first abused. Had I known more than I do now at 51 years old, just maybe I may have stood a chance infront of a groomer.
