On Friday, I attended the 2024 San Diego #EqualityAwards . This year marks Equality California’s (EQCA) 25th anniversary, and I recognized their Executive Director, Tony Hoang, for the incredible work EQCA has done in advocating for LGBTQ+ civil rights.

I would have liked to have seen our Senators Senator Alex Padilla & Senator Laphonza Butler follow Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and support this bi-partisan legislation. There are millions of Californian’s who care deeply about digital assets like #Bitcoin and its success.

In a tight race, little wins can make all the difference. President Biden needs to sign this bi-partisan legislation. Not only is it the right policy, it’s good politics. More upside than down. Team Joe Biden needs to push internally.

I agree with Mark here. Around the time I left the legislature, democrats from CA made up ~51% of all individuals searching crypto related topics online. Dems would be foolish to just hand this base over to the GOP, which is what they’re doing.
