The joint team of personnel from No 3 Ops Wing, Irish Air Corps and National Ambulance Service 🇮🇪🚑 today responded to our 6,000th #lifesaving helicopter emergency aeromedical support mission since the all-Ireland service was launched from Athlone in 2012 #StrengthenTheNation 🚁🇮🇪

The current model of aeromedical ambulance service does amazing work within the confines of what they have.
Ireland needs to develop a statutory prehospital critical care service(by road+air) to complement this great work. Simply putting a 'doctor' on a heli isn't the answer1/2
