In 2023, IOM provided over 3.3 million people with vaccinations in outbreak settings, as part of mass campaigns and routine vaccinations. In collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, IOM is offering vaccines against 22 diseases to migrant/displaced people.

I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of the war in Bucha district, but I have also witnessed the resilience of the community.

Today, 90% of the community has returned, and businesses are opening.

It is critical that we continue to support the people of Ukraine.

Globally 75% of employers report difficulty finding talents. After Greece's economic recovery, the labour market demands workers in key sectors.

Honored to speak at DEF to highlight how facilitating regular pathways can fill labour gaps and reduce risks for migrants.

A welcome step forward with the adoption of the EU Migration and Asylum Pact by the European Parliament.

We now look forward to adoption by the EU Council and will be ready to support the EU and Member States with implementation.
