The meeting was officially inaugurated by Mr. felix koskei Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in Kenya.

IGG I also extended my gratitude to UN Office on Drugs & Crime for their collaboration with EAAACA/ARINEA in organizing this significant regional conference. This event marks a substantial milestone in our collective efforts to eradicate corruption across the region.

IGG I emphasize the critical need for anti-corruption agencies and stakeholders to mobilize public participation in the fight against corruption.

The public needs to own this #battle , as they are the primary victims of poor-quality service delivery resulting from corruption.

As the Inspector General of Government IGG and President of the Eastern Africa Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, I had the honor of participating in the Regional Conference of the Eastern Africa Anti-Corruption Platform high-level meeting in Nairobi, #Kenya .

Today IGG teams held two Barazas at Buswale Sub-county (Namayingo DLG) and Pajule Town Council (Pader DLG). The engagements are among others aimed at sensitising the citizens about
the dangers of corruption, and how they can own the war against the same vice.

Today IGG held two Barazas in the Eastern (Ivukula T.C, Namutumba DLG) and Northern (Pabbo T.C, Amuru DLG) regions. These engagements are aimed at stimulating citizens’ awareness about the mandate of the IG, and how they, too, can join the war to eliminate corruption.
