Saw this last night (cheers to Independent Film Festival Boston ) and can say with certainty it's one of the funniest (and best) movies of the year.
Also cheers to the late great Richard Roundtree, who crushes it in this.

Film five, Thelma, was an easy choice to close out the entire festival. I’ve never heard so many people laughing and clapping at a film before! Super unique and heartfelt from start to finish. #IFFBoston2024 left me with a lot of new favorites—my top 10 will be hard this year!

THELMA is a rollicking delight, a funny and wise romp that proves America's sweetheart really is June Squibb, a wonderful final performance from Richard Roundtree. @Iffboston ends on a high note!
