Frontline health workers are often the first responders in emergency situations.

ICRC lends support to hospitals, working with health ministries in a country to support training of frontline health workers to build their capacity & ensure sustainability of skills.

35 frontline actors attended a 3-day training course on international health regulations and dead body management organized by IOM 🇩🇯, @MinSanteDj and the ICRC Nairobi Regional Delegation .

In 2023, we reached over 1000 students through lectures, essay competitions, moot courts in Kenya, Tanzania and Djibouti.
