Exploring Surface Area of Cylinders in Ms. Dorego’s gr 8 class Immaculate Conception Catholic School - Official by decomposing the cylinder, determining the area of the 2D shapes and adding them up. Some Ss were able to make connections between the circumference and the width of the curved surface.

Ss in Mr. Natalino’s class Immaculate Conception Catholic School - Official worked collaboratively to create scatter plots to display data. Ss had to choose appropriate scales labels & titles, and describe what the graph shows. Ss were also shown how to organize & graph data using Mathigon polypad.
