#IVCO2023 Panel Session 3, moderated by Matt Baillie Smith Northumbria Centre for Global Development, looked at 'Youth Volunteering Programmes as a Route to Employment and Entrepreneurship'. Speakers included Nichole Albright Cirillo IAVE;Tapiwa Kamuruko, UN Volunteers; Peris Mwangi & Sophia Nthuku Habitat for Humanity.

Was honoured to participate at #IVCO2023 day 2 plenary session with Chris Millora and others “ Decolonising Power and Privilege in Youth Volunteering” where we talked about the need to look at language, who is in the room and how decisions are made.

We wrapped up #IVCO2023 with an official handover and announcement that #IVCO2024 will be hosted by Northumbria Uni Northumbria Centre for Global Development with the support of Comhlámh. We hope to see you all there next year!
