Maine's Positive Story of the Day~Mitchell Primary School, Kittery~Principal Alli Gamache promoted School Breakfast Week at her school by hosting state & Federal USDA & DOE officials for a breakfast celebration, 'Surf's Up With School Breakfast!' #NAESP

Maine's Positive Story of the Day ~Smith School, Winterport ~3rd & 4th graders in Mr. Krummel’s class started 209 School-azon Prime, a school store. They wrote letters home for parents about how much they sell items for. Same-day delivery is provided and free of charge. #NAESP

Maine’s Positive Story of the Day~Statewide NHS Banquet and Convention ~Over 350 NHS students gathered at the UMaine to learn and network with student leaders from around the state. Congratulations to those who ran for a position on the 2024-25 NHS State Board! #NASSP

Maine's Positive Story of the Day ~Bruce M. Whittier Middle School in Poland ~in February, they held our 13th edition of Whittier History Day. Over 90 community members volunteered as judges and interviewed students on their selected research topics

Maine's Positive Story of the Day ~ Mount Vernon Eleme School ~Volunteer, Margrit Stockford, is teaching 4th and 5th grade students the skill of sewing. using sewing machines and take their time making straight stitches.  They have made bean bags, rice socks and headbands. #NAESP
