وزارت خارجه امریکا در گزارش سالانه خود درباره وضعیت حقوق بشر نوشت که ۱۶ زن از ۹۰ زن زندانی در جوزجان، فاریاب و سمنگان پس از تجاوز طالبان باردار شده‌اند.

این وزارت افزود طالبان دست‌کم چهار زن را در سمنگان پس از تجاوز مکرر اعضایش اعدام کرده‌است.
