Today is international families day!

Did you know…? Every Thursday our multi disciplinary Family and Significant Others Team meet to discuss how we can continue to aid our women with building and maintaining positive relationships with their families and significant others!

Over 70% of our women attended the Education Work and Skills fair. Local and national employers took part in the day and to creat countless connections which resulted in a number of fantastic job offers! Excellent work by our Prison Employment Lead and Employment Hub team!

We know it’s hard being apart from loved ones over the festive season. At HMP/YOI Askham Grange we can help you keep in touch through visits, video calls, writing a letter or emailing a prisoner.

What a fantastic end to Employment Week today! Over 20 of our women attended multiple mock interviews with a variety of employers from both local and National employers. It’s been a wonderful week of learning and opportunities! HMPPS HMP Women's Directorate

Day three of Employment Week has been the busiest yet. Around three quarters of our women spent time working their way around the job fair. A huge thank you to all the employers who took part. There is lots of excitement for tomorrow mock interviews….
