Over the years, the GoDown has built valuable networks with communities in Nairobi. Some of whom have been affected by the ongoing evictions after the floods. Together with partner organizations, we stand with the victims & call for an inclusive, humane plan around this process.

The Creative Economy working group today attended the Stakeholder engagement of Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Masterplan implementation on people and social thematic focus area.

Kenya Copyright Board will be holding a training and awareness creation on copyright and related rights for the creatives sector in Nyeri, Embu, Isiolo, Machakos, Kakamega, Kisumu, Mombasa & Kericho.

Today, UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 GoDown Arts Centre and Nairobi City County convened to review the strides made in enhancing Nairobi's cultural sector.
Together, we are working on regulatory frameworks, mapping, and training to empower Nairobi's cultural landscape through the UNESCO|Aschberg Programme.

On Tuesday 9th , KDI Kenya was honored to host Dr. Nairobi River Commission chairperson , the Chairperson of the Nairobi Rivers Commission . During her visit, we presented our work along the river under the Mukuru River Front project, the 3EP project, and Flowing Together.
