We signed a collaborative Plan of Action with National Institute of Disaster Management at NIDM Rohini Campus, New Delhi to work for strengthening Child-centric #DisasterRiskReduction practices in #India , with an aim to equip children & their communities to be better prepared to face hazards & disaster.

A logical step coming close on the heels of the report Bal Raksha Bharat launched last month to outline strategies to mitigate disasters & hazards in urban settings from a child-centric POV. Together with National Institute of Disaster Management, we’re committed to help communities become more resilient.

#EarthDay2023 'Bal Raksha Bharat' (Save the Children) highlights that d dominant emotions of children when asked about hazard occurrence & outcomes were fear, sadness, anxiety & worry. The survey reached communities in Delhi, Pune, Patna, Kolkata & Hyderabad. 3/3
