Thanks Ivana Bacik, Oireachtas All-Party Cycling Group and Irish Cycling Campaign for organising the BikeWeek Oireachtas Cycle.
Numbers of people using bikes for transport, even in the Oireachtas, keeps growing, and it's heartening to see the huge support among Senators and TDs for cycling.
Great craic at the Leitrim Cycling Festival Festival this morning.
Cyclympics, Willow Games, Picnic Cycle, Bike Maintenance Workshop and it's not even midday yet!

Lovely morning in Galway with Mayor of Galway - Cllr. Eddie Hoare Cllr Frank Fahy as the new pedestrian crossing was officially opened on Wolfe Tone Bridge & we visited other active travel projects in the city centre with overall investment of over €4 million.
Great to see the new Eglington Canal Active Travel Scheme and to open the pedestrian Wolf Tone Bridge with Senator Pauline O'Reilly, MEP Candidate today.
This new path will connect with the Moycullen Greenway - giving locals and visitors a beautiful green corridor along Lough Corrib. #Galway
