We are very proud to be playing a leading role in the latest convoy in our capacity as lead authority for National Resilience- volunteers from MFRS are also part of the convoy and we will be checking in on their journey as they progress to support our Ukrainian counterparts.

UK firefighters are heading to Ukraine to support our fire service family, bringing vehicles and essential equipment and demonstrating the very best of UK fire and rescue services. Thanks to the support of Home Office, NFCC National Resilience, FIRE AID and International Development, and FIA.

A convoy of 30 fire & rescue vehicles has set off for the Polish-Ukrainian border. We've a team of 27 Brigade staff, with firefighters & FIRE AID and International Development staff from across the UK delivering vital fire & rescue kit & equipment.
