Today, I received Etienne Peterschmitt, head of FAO in Somalia, at my office where we discussed key topics such as strengthening cooperation, supporting ongoing efforts to construct dams, and preparedness for projected rains. FAO in Somalia is a key partner to SoDMA.
In the face of ravaging floods, Abdullahi Ahmed Wasuge & his family, along with many others in Beledweyne, Somalia, found safety thanks to early warnings from FAO in Somalia 's #SWALIM unit with support from UK in Somalia🇬🇧🇸🇴.
