HR/VP Josep Borrell Fontelles presided yesterday at the EEAS a ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

'The victims have to be honoured. Their memory has to be kept', he said.

'We commemorate the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda: 1 million people murdered in 100 days in 1994. We have to honour the victims and reiterate our commitment to stop any crime against humanity in the world', said HR/VP Josep Borrell Fontelles at the EEAS ceremony.
