Apropos your moniker, I tend to say ‘cannabis rarely kills but cannabis users frequently do’.

I know that neuroscientists are reluctant to use the word ‘cause’ in relation to anything so I also tend to say the ‘correlation’ between cannabis use and violence is remarkable…

I’m recalling that slow dawning realisation - in the midst of the bedlam on your average night in the emergency department - that this chap has a fixed delusion…so no ‘quick fix’, alas.

Like alcohol some people don’t know when to stop. It is associated with schizophrenia and I’ve worked in psychiatry wards where I’ve seen the results.
