Pts w/ aortic annulus dimensions >30mm are generally considered unsuitable for #TAVI due to the unavailability of large-size devices. Here's the first successful implantation of a 35mm transcatheter balloon-expandable valve for severe calcific bicuspid aortic valve stenosis

In this multicenter registry of 10,872 patients undergoing TAVI, baseline ejection fraction was ≤30% in 914 (8.4%) patients. Of them, the left ventricle recovered in 59.5%, including 26.7% patients whose left ventricle function normalized completely.

No recovery was associated
