This past November we completed our first workshop at Thomas Jefferson High School in south-central LA. To prep for the workshop, each student completed a paper where they described a role model in their own lives, which was shared before immersing into the VR experiences.

Together we are hosting an outreach program in LA, partnering with teachers and school admin to bring into the public schools a workshop in which we put over 100 students in VR headsets to experience the personal stories of amazing role models and change makers in their community

We at Exponential Destiny have partnered with the Getty Museum’s Getty Conservation Institute here in Los Angeles to translate their incredible Human Atlas project [ahumanatlas.com] into an immersive & experiential learning environment in Virtual Reality.

The Human Atlas Project is a GCI initiative that nominates and profiles 100 social change makers driving impact from a community.  These profiles are shared in a Human Atlas crafted book. We taking these profiles and transforming them into immersive and experiential stories in VR

We shared with over 400 students our initial proof of concept supported by The J. Paul Getty Trust, in which students were immersed in an educational experience in VR where they were able to meet virtually and hear the stories of social change makers from the LA community.

At Exponential Destiny, our team of young social-impact entrepreneurs from LA were sharing our exciting collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) called the “the Human Atlas Metaverse”.

It was great for our team to share our latest collaboration with the Getty with the broader student community in L.A.

On Wed October 4th at the Los Angeles USC Coliseum over 5,000 high school and middle school students from over 80 LA school districts attended the annual “Tech Empowerment Day” organized by Delete the Divide (lacoe.edu/Technology/Del…).

The team learned about new innovations happening within the XR industry and spoke with many experts. A special thank you to the AWE leadership team for having us.
