Good walk from Ockbrook to Dale Abbey this am - 1st Spotted Flycatchers of the year (2), 7 Yellowhammer and 10 Whitethroat territories found with 7 Skylark, Hobby, 5 Buzzard, 3 Swallow and singing Lesser Whitethroat. Having seen many GND & finding the last BTD in 2011, RTD eluded me being mostly fly throughs or very brief. Number 199 for Carsington Derbyshire Ornithological Society (DOS)
