at least 4 Bee-eaters reportedly flew west over Littleover at c11am yesterday (6th)

a Purple Heron reported over Bridge Foot, Belper on 5th

Couple of hours in a Peak District woodland this afternoon, not the best of light so high Iso and slightly soft, will have to go backin better conditions :)

Good walk from Ockbrook to Dale Abbey this am - 1st Spotted Flycatchers of the year (2), 7 Yellowhammer and 10 Whitethroat territories found with 7 Skylark, Hobby, 5 Buzzard, 3 Swallow and singing Lesser Whitethroat. 3 Whimbrel @ Middleton Moor

Plenty of willow warblers and chiffchaff at Highoredish nature reserve in the glorious weather this morning.
Orange tip and peacock butterfly, too.
