Our Congresswoman, multiple members of the General Assembly and (some) members of Council have released statements about Shawn’s tragic death.

And yet, Mayor Mayor Levar M. Stoney has still refused to comment on this heartbreaking, preventable tragedy.

Shame on City Hall!

City leaders cannot act surprised by Shawn’s death. Four of Richmond’s nine most dangerous intersections are on VCU’s campus. Where are the 15mph speed limits, pedestrian-only streets, raised crosswalks, bump-outs and bollards to prevent these deaths?
